Work

My journey in project management started in 2014. I graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s in business administration from University of Washington, with a focus in marketing and international business. While employed at Virginia Mason Medical Center I was promoted to my first project coordinator role for Virginia Mason Institute. I am trained in lean management and methodology. In my previous role, I held a seat in our offices Project Management Office (PMO).

I enjoy leading and coordinating projects in various areas. From the development and creation of new products through a structured model, the creation and maintenance of brand standards for marketing materials, to digital experience creating websites and implementing new software. All while putting an emphasis on implementing standards for continuous improvement.

Through my experience I have learned that I have a natural ability to lead and coordinate projects. I have a vast skillset and excel at many things, but my greater joy comes from assessing project objectives, developing project plans, managing project logistics and seeing them through to completion. I work great in teams and do not fall under pressure.

 

Technical

As a project manager (PM), you tend to get your hands wet while managing projects. I have dabbled in graphic design, photography, event planning, digital communications, website development, software implementation and more.

I have a knack for managing projects in the digital landscape. I am a go-to new application PM and helper of integrating new tools and functionality into existing workflows for people of all technical levels.

 

Along the way, I have learned, used and continue to use many programs including:

MS Suite, Adobe CC (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop, XD), Asana, ProofHub, Salesforce, CVENT, WordPress, Wix, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, etc.

 

Personal

I’m a positive person, making the most out of what life has to offer. Spending quality time with family and friends is a must. I delight in cooking and baking while managing to keep off the pounds. I’m a sports enthusiast, watching a good football game is where you will find me on Sundays. I am a big Seattle Seahawks fan, Go Hawks! Lover of many genres of music and would enjoy going to a good concert from time to time.
