This is a project I managed that supports the work of the Digital Strategy team by helping Office Public Lectures (a campus unit) update and upgrade their current website to be more functional for them to manage and create a better user experience. Phase one of the update included developing better overall organization, consistency and ease of use when registering for events. New features included: specialized filtering, personalized Trumba calendar, new header images, a few new content sections. Additionally, we provided training for the Public Lectures team they can manage and maintain the site with little support. Phase two of this update occurred after the Public lectures team had been using their newly designed website. Adjustments included: build out event pages to include multiple speakers, add an about the series call out box on select lecture pages, create a more robust archives page that supports audio and video, create custom styling for Trumba calendar, and investigate adding and intake form for event submissions.
