The focus was to create an end-of-year piece that fosters audiences\u2019 engagement with the University of Washington by showcasing some of the most evocative and meaningful photos from the  2020-2021 fiscal year. The story reflects a diversity of subjects, people, disciplines and campuses, that broadly reflective of the UW, consistent with the #ThisIsUW message theme for December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">This project brought together university photographers, content team (writer &amp; editor), design team (designer, creative lead), web development team (front end web developer), leadership and many stakeholders across the university.
